ECOLOGICAL CHALLENGES IN URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF LVIV NOWADAYS

Abstract

In this article we look at the problems of hazardous waste in Lviv, as well as the global experience in solving such problems. We review the main steps and measures Lviv authorities have been taking to tackle the issue of household waste, recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. We analyse the results of these steps and measures.
